Dr. LaToya Smith Wilson

Dr. Wilson is a general dentist at a local children’s hospital in its community outreach department utilizing her expertise as a dentist offering comprehensive care to students in local child development centers and schools at no cost to eliminate oral health disparities. Wilson has experience writing abstracts and formulating presentations for national mobile health and school health conferences.

Wilson seeks every opportunity to foster oral health through patient education focused on daily mechanical plaque removal and proper nutrition, prevention, quality comprehensive care, and regular re-care visits. While providing excellent dental care, Dr Wilson also works to build courage in patients to transform dental anxiety into an enthusiasm for seeking lifelong optimal oral health. Wilson works with a team approach to ensure every patient’s appointment is both exciting and memorable. Wilson uses her skill to identify occlusions and develop patient-centered treatment plans that are tailored to individual needs while simultaneously being adherent to evidence-based dental practices.
