Domonique Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC in Virginia. She has over 10+ years’ experience in the field of human service. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from VCU in 2009 and obtained her master’s degree in 2016.
Domonique has experience in a variety of community-based interventions ranging from intensive in home, supervised residential, and forensics. While using an array of person-centered approaches, she primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Mindfulness and meditation, and, Dialectical Behavioral therapy from an Adlerian based perspective. Domonique specializes in persistent mental illness and trauma informed care but welcomes clients with any level of need.
Domonique strengths include the ability to quickly develop rapport with individuals, to assess situations and develop practical plans in full collaboration with the clients. Domonique is innovative and flexible, with her main goal being to find what works for you!
